A calmer process
From first thought
to final towel.
Renovating in London takes coordination. We make it feel more like a conversation — clear steps, sensible timelines and someone who knows what is happening next.
The first visit
Day 0
We come to you. Forty-five minutes, measured and photographed, moisture checked, and we examine the room properly before we tell you anything.
The considered plan
Within 48 hours
A written proposal: scope, specification, sequence and named dates. Enough detail to make a confident decision, and a start date held for you.
Strip out
Day 1
Floors and stairs protected, the route to the skip agreed, and all waste removed by registered waste carriers. Whatever we find behind the old walls is photographed and sent to you the same day.
First fix and tanking
Days 2–5
Pipework, cabling, boarding, primer, two coats of membrane. We stop here and send you photographs of the tanked room — because once it is tiled, nobody can verify it, including you.
Tiling
Days 6–9
Set out from the sightline you notice first rather than the corner that is easiest. Awkward cuts planned to land behind the door, grout and silicone colours confirmed with you beforehand.
The handover
Days 10–12
Sanitaryware, screens, electrical certificate, clean. You then walk the room with us and list anything you are not happy with. Nothing is closed off until that list is signed.
The process
Questions we are
asked most.
What if we change our minds halfway through?
Changes are normal. We price them in writing before anything is done, so you always know what a decision costs before you make it, and nothing gets added to a final invoice as a surprise.
Do we need to move out?
Almost never. Most clients stay put. If it is your only bathroom we will tell you at survey exactly which days it is unusable so you can plan around them.
Who is actually on site each day?
Our own team and the trades we work with regularly. You get one point of contact throughout rather than four numbers and a guess about who is turning up.
Tell us about your room.
A survey within one working day, and a written proposal within two. No sales visit, no pressure.
